Therefore the best investments - right now- are in Gold & Oil.

They don't make "Doctors" like Mr. Mark Skousen anymore. This guy is a true contrarian, against the grain analyst often butting heads with his buddies Dave Fessler and Alex Green... I would surely like to be in the midst of them talking it up. Dr. Skousen should write more often!

While I applaud and agree with the forecast analysis, I can't help but be skeptical with the financial companies right now, despite NLY being a REIT. I would like to be a contrarian, but I'm just wearing of them with the relaxed accounting rules that are being put in motions by the current government. And haven't we learned to be leery about the high yield dividends such as the one by Annaly? And once the Fed (several months out??) start raising interest rates, borrowing costs may crush this yield and its stock price in the process. I haven't looked at their financial statements, but over how long can a such a high divident payout be maintained anyway? The play on oil here in PWE is a no brainer: the price of the barrel is definitely going up and and the U.S. dollar just hit a 14-month low.
