Hi Louise,

I remembered your recommendation of Teppco but did not take the trade. But I did make a note on the day you made the recommendation, Teppco was selling for $18 and the last traded price was $30.05. That's a 60% gain on the stock!!!

Regards,
EDK

In bad markets you want to be diversified; GE is one of the few stocks you can own that is truely diversified, and has many new products and services coming to market. I believe it is the perfect stock to provide diversification to anyones portfolio.

iagree w/some of your reasons for dumping ge,however i do think ge is in a great position to profit from the obama adm. agenda!!i understand ge is already preparing to set up trading of carbon credits their alternate energy will also benefit--health care and medical equipt looks to me that if obama gets what he wants ie clean energy bill, health care reform GE will be in a sweet place!! please advise

I don't understand the free cash flow claim of $763 million. I'm a novice at reading financial statements. When I look at Yahoo Finance for 2008, net income is $412 million and free cash flow is $224.6 million. Where does the $763 million claimed in the report come from?
