We get many interesting reader comments here at Investment U. We see our fair share of positive and not-so-positive comments.

One of our favorite comments recently suggested that if a man goes to a surgeon for advice, the surgeon suggests surgery. The reader hypothesized that, as an investment site, the fact we continue to recommend investing in the stock market – even during this downturn – places us in the same category as a surgeon.

First of all, it’s an honor to be grouped in with surgeons. Secondly, the reader seems to have missed the entire point of what we do here.

The goal of Investment U is to give you impartial, no-nonsense advice on how to build long-lasting wealth.
