Is Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke taking his cue from us here at Investment U? It appears so.
On March 30th, Investment U Chairman Alexander Green wrote, “It’s a shame, really, that much of what is offered here – at no charge – is not taught in the public schools. Why is it that you can graduate in the top of your high school class and know next to nothing about credit card debt, adjustable-rate mortgages, or 401(k)s?”
Last Wednesday, in an address to students at Woodrow Wilson High School in Kansas City, Bernanke picked up the baton. He remarked that an explosion of financial products means that people must achieve financial literacy.
“As you think about your future,” Bernanke told the graduating students, “don’t forget the importance of financial literacy.”
Apparently, he has good reason for concern.

Our mission here, of course, is to explain your options and uncover opportunities
